Our Storage Solutions
Team offers administration, maintenance, and performance
of Datacenter SAN and NAS storage environments. This
entails configuration and allocation of storage to
servers, problem reporting and remedial coordination
with the hardware vendors, Change Management
coordination, and site performance analysis and
reporting.
Will Interface with Server, Database, and Backup
administrators to design, build, and operate storage
processes and solutions with other subject matter
experts, resulting in a professionally managed
environment.
Our Team has a strong emphasis on Hardware
Infrastructure Management and IT partnership.
- Server
connectivity to the storage infrastructure. This
includes the physical connectivity of the UNIX or
Windows server to the SAN and/or NAS storage
offering. Requires installation and configuration of
server Host Bus Adapters (HBA's), Switch zoning,
storage LUN creation, and front to backend testing.
- Installation and
updates of storage software. This includes firmware
and driver updates of all hardware components
including HBA's, Switches, SAN/NAS units,
multi-pathing software, and other specific point
products related to storage.
- Coordination of
all storage related activities between the business
units, IT/Infrastructure Systems, and the hardware
vendor(s) for new/existing projects. Manage storage
changes to the Development, Test, Staging, and
Production environments, application/server change
management functions, and daily production status
reporting.
- Participate in
planning activities for the growth of the storage
environment.
- Build and maintain
business relationships with IT/Infrastructure Server
Administrators, Operations staff, and Database
Administrators representing business units,
resulting in effective customer service, offering
new storage services to the business.
- Prepare monthly
storage capacity/utilization reports, vendor
performance based on SLA, resource utilization,
action plans, project plans, problem
management/outage reports, and other documentation
as required.
- Carry a duty
pager/Cell Phone to interact with management,
Operations, hardware vendors, and other facilities
personnel.

Create/update/maintain all storage related
documentation and diagrams of the storage hardware
infrastructure. This will include operational
runbooks, detailed server/switch/LUN topology.
PowerPoint presentations will be required on
occasion.

Our Solutions
Architects will work both within project teams and
independently delivering Storage Infrastructure
solutions of varying complexity and scale. The end
customers will range from medium corporations to Fortune
1000 companies. The Solutions Architects may be under
the direction of a Project Manager or will act as the
technical lead with limited supervision depending on the
project and the level of complexity. Our Solution
Architect Team will be in charge of design, architecture
and deployment responsibilities for all the client
projects. Our Solution Architects are excellent team
players and have excellent communication and customer
service skills.
