Comprobase is
a proven provider of systems development and
support to the Commercial, Not-for-profit
and Public Sector. Of particular interest
are several Comprobase ERP/CRM/BI contracts
reflecting our “hands on” leadership in the
Private Sector and Federal Government
Information Technology (IT) management arena
and our specific experience in Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP). The Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) solution reflects
Comprobase’s ability in a demanding ERP
environment and our success in the
development and support of such solutions.
The Comprobase
team and the personnel who lead that team
are experienced in providing support to
Public and Private Sector Clients in
PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, and Hyperion
environments. Our Program Managers typically
have over 20 years experience in project
management and ERP System Implementations.
They have extensive experience to drive
forward organizational development, control
costs, and improve business efficiencies.
The Comprobase Team understands that the
customer requires an experienced, project
management team—one that is well versed in
effective program management, design,
technical operations, and support of
on-going development and maintenance
activities for their ERP system in a mission
critical environment. We provide application
implementation, project management support,
technology management, application
maintenance, and hosting services for the
hardware, software, database, and PeopleSoft
application software used in the ERP system.
The Comprobase Team clearly demonstrates its
expertise in providing the necessary system
support for the ERP applications.
We will provide you with the
following consulting services and will also
incorporate all steps in our application
implementation methodology mentioned:
-
We will review your
current business processes, and with the
vision and requirements for your
business needs and a five year growth
plan, assist in the development of a New
Defined Business Process that will align
with the new technology direction;
-
Set up the application
modules being implemented; assist you in
identifying proper coding schemes for
your asset management controls;
-
Schedule and provide
training to all appropriate staff on the
use, in a manner that will be aligned
with the project schedule. This training
should include the introduction of your
staff to each screen in the module being
purchased and walking them through the
key procedures such as entering data,
closing modules and printing reports;
-
Install the purchased
application onto your specified
UNIX/LINUX/Windows Servers and Oracle/MS
SQL Server/DB2/Sybase database and
Tuxedo application servers, WebLogic/OAS
Servers and workstations;
-
We will oversee and
direct the configuration of all
workstations required to access
purchased applications. We will manage
the initialization of the database,
which will provide you a starting point
for setting up your data designed around
your needs;
-
We will ensure that
training is provided to your staff as to
proper functional and technical usage
and maintenance of the system;
-
We will assist in the
development of written procedures to be
used in the day-to-day operation of your
integrated systems;
-
Discuss with you the
types and format of reports and ensure
that the configured applications will
provide you with reports necessary for
effective management of your business;
-
We will provide guidance,
so that you and your staff will take the
responsibility for learning the new
system. This includes scheduling the
time for training, doing the training
tasks, and asking questions whenever you
are unsure. It also includes
familiarization with the manuals for the
new systems. We also suggest that your
staff should enter a cross training
system as soon as possible to reduce the
cost of "down time" due to employee
illness and turnover;
-
Coordinate and ensure the
accuracy of the records: Management and
staff must ensure the data is accurate
prior to entry in the new system;
-
Test and ensure the
accuracy of all-Financial/HR reports and
customizations made to the system;
-
As appropriate for the
type of engagement, we will develop
procedures to supplement those in the
automated system. The customer must take
the responsibility to follow them on a
continuing basis, as documentation is
crucial when system failure occurs; and;
-
Provide Disaster Recovery
procedures that could be used by the
Technical staff to failover in the event
of a disaster.
